The world of MMO games.

My research topic is going to involve the gaming world. Online gaming has been growing and becoming more acceptable. The communication with in the game differs immensely from what you would find on online forums, but what might be the cause of this? Also, for many of the players, it has become an active job they work at to improve their "skills". What are causing these games to be more important that some real life affairs? Who knows, lets find out.
